Who we are
This site is operated by Pilot Projects ApS, Vesterbrogade 80B, 1620 Copenhagen V, Denmark (CVR 46509404). We are the data controller for the personal data collected through this site. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, write to us at hello@pilotprojects.dk.
What we collect
When you sign up to our waitlist, we collect your email address and the time of your signup. That's all we ask for. We don't use cookies for tracking, and we don't run third-party analytics on this page.
Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records standard server information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This data is used only to keep the site running and secure, and is retained for a limited period.
Why we collect it
We use your email address to:
- Notify you when Pilot launches
- Send you a code for a little extra in your first order
- Occasionally tell you about something we think you'd want to know about
The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you give by signing up. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We use the following data processors to handle your email on our behalf. Each is bound by a data processing agreement and may transfer data outside the EU/EEA under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions):
- Klaviyo, Inc. (USA) — email marketing platform that stores your address and sends our emails. Privacy notice.
- Netlify, Inc. (USA) — hosts this website. Privacy notice.
We don't sell your data, ever. We don't share it with anyone outside the processors above without your explicit consent or a legal obligation.
How long we keep it
We keep your email on our list until you unsubscribe, or until two years after your last interaction with us — whichever comes first. After that, we delete it.
If you become a customer, we may need to keep some records longer to comply with accounting and tax laws (typically 5 years under Danish law).
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to our processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw your consent at any time
To exercise any of these, just email hello@pilotprojects.dk. The unsubscribe link in every email we send also withdraws your consent instantly.
If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy in a meaningful way, we'll let our subscribers know by email before the changes take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
